Biography:

Dave is 59 years of age and married to Carmita who he met whilst serving with Voluntary Service Overseas.

A family man with three grown-up children, hehas lived in Walderslade for over 25 years. He is aware of the needs of the community and has long wished to serve as a local Councillor in order to help improve the local environment.

Having worked as a volunteer with young people across Medway, he recently led an initiative to improve the facilities for young people in Walderslade.

An Engineering Manager with Delphi Diesel Systems, David has travelled extensively in the course of his work and has a good understanding of the needs of others.

His contribution to the community comes by way of membership of Rotary and has been involved in fund raising and voluntary work for the Medway Maritime Hospital Children’s wards.

David won his seat on Medway Council at the 2007 election defeating an incumbent "Independent" councillor and becomming the first Conservative Councillor for Walderslade Ward since the seat was created at the last boundary review.
